2018 Vintage Markets…Here I Come!

So, as I stated in my last (and my very first post) that I left my, not so profitable booth in a nice but old antique mall, so I could pursue vintage markets for the upcoming year.  Well, I signed up for my first one about a month ago and was very nervous that they might not like me.  But I was accepted!  Yes, these markets are juried by their creators so you get the best experience when attending.  So, needless to say I was very flattered to be accepted by The Old House Vintage Market.

Old House Vintage Market, Loveland January 2017 had a wonderful Welcome at the entrance with this beautiful vintage turquoise truck. Junk Chic 5280 was a proud vendor and looking forward to the fall market back in Loveland at The Ranch.

The Old House Vintage Market prides itself in featuring artisans, makers, creators and curators selling one of a kind antiques, salvage and upcycled/handmade items.  Believing in nurturing the connections between small businesses (such as moi) and their customers (such as toi).

Now my nerves are a wreck, but I know that this is going to be great.  I just have to put on my big girl panties and make it happen.  I know once I attend one full event the next one will be so much easier.

Speaking of the next event…I was feeling a bit more confident and submitted an application to Rebel Junk.  Guess what?  They accepted me too!  They are both in the same location but different months.  However, both of them have such distinctive styles they set themselves apart from each other.

This market focuses on emerging vendors that dabble in re-purposed, vintage, farmhouse, and industrial finds.  My husband I an attended this one in early February and had a blast.  It was laid out in a more causal way, instead of row after row, which seemed to make the foot traffic more efficient.  When it is crowded it is soooooo hard to shop!
